I just found
wakoopa yesterday which "tracks what kind of software or games you use, and lets you create your own software profile."
The good part is that you can see the most used software. Great tool to discover new software.
The bad part is that you need to sign up (but it's free).
I filled up djlan's profile on the site with basic info and supplied an icon that I thought looked nice.
